Meet Audrey Gardner
Audrey Gardner, principal and owner of Gardner Law, LLC, has dedicated her career to standing up for injured workers and the hardworking people of her community. With over 20 years of experience negotiating and settling claims for major insurance companies and national employers, she brings unmatched insight into how the system works, and how to protect her clients’ rights.
Audrey began her career as a property loss adjuster before moving into workers’ compensation, where she handled cases ranging from minor injuries to catastrophic claims. Her deep knowledge of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act and her passion for helping people inspired her to earn her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University Law School.
Growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, Audrey learned compassion and advocacy early, often standing up for others who had no one to defend them. Since moving to the United States in 1990, she has carried that same commitment to every client she serves.
Today, Audrey uses her unique perspective, combining industry knowledge and legal skill, to guide injured workers through the claims process, fight for their rights, and secure the benefits they deserve. While workers’ compensation is her primary focus, Gardner Law, LLC also represents clients in personal injury, immigration, estate planning, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other matters.

She's held key roles at major firms like Travelers, Amtrust North America, Gallagher Bassett Services, and Martin Boyer/Cambridge. In these roles, she managed a vast array of workers' compensation claims, from minor sprains to catastrophic injuries and even wrongful death claims across 13 states.
